Event Description:
The Port Hudson SHS staff and volunteers will present an trpretive program demonstrating different kinds of Civil War Weapons. The program will start with a cannon demonstration by going through an artillery loading drill and then load and fire the cannon. At 1:30 PM the staff and volunteers will demonstrate small arms such as muskets, rifled-muskets, carbines and pistols. At 2pm the and volunteers will present another artillery demonstration by going through an artillery loading drill and then load and fire the cannons.
