Event Description:
In observance of National Kids to Park Day, join a ranger on a one-mile guided hike along the paths of Port Hudson State Historic Site. Participants will visit and have an opportunity to discuss the historic Civil War earthworks of Port Hudson, as well as observe nature while listening to the various forest noises and animals. seen will be discussed and viewed. Participants should wear clothes and shoes appropriate for the weather and bring water for drinking. Pets, on a leash, are welcome.
